LOL... I was wondering the same thingHow could you ever tell if your duck had diarrhea?
Just thought I'd come in and look around; newcomer to ducks here.
LOL... I was wondering the same thing
It was different from it's normal poop it had been having. It had been sneezing a little bit and his poop was brown and completely runny. Usually it was more clumped
I let my ducks (Muscovy) out at night too, when I get home from work. I have noticed that they are much more active at night than during the day. During the day, they seem to enjoy the morning time for bathing and foraging, but come closer to noon time, they head under the porch or under the shrubs to sleep all day long. At night they forage, swim and hang out under the back porch light catching flying insects. I did not realize they had such great vision at night! Love my muscovies!Oh it's no problem! Thanks y'all! It actually hasn't happened since that day I've just been watching it closely. I actually added another duck and goose which is working out really good! They're much more playful! I've been letting them out for a bit in the morning and until Dark when I get home from work. They absolutely LOVE it and they're so funny to watch! I'm sure glad I got these little guys... Or girlsand thank you guys for all the help!![]()

well there vent sexing you can go to Metzers web site and they show you how, or you can wait a while and look for the drake feather at about 4-6 months and the egg around the same time or listen to their quack, ducks are loud when quacking Drakes have a low raspy quack. unless you have Muscovy's then you won't see the drake feather or hear the quack.I'm not sure If I've already asked this, but how do you sex ducks?
