I'm not Amiga but if you can get some plain niacin or Brewers yeast and start giving it to your duckling I believe it will help a lot. Some ducklings just seem to need more than others. 100-150mg of niacin crushed into a 1 gal. waterer or 1 tab Brewers yeast sprinkled over top of their feed daily. doesn't usually take long to see results.
Thank you so much for letting us know, so happy to hear this, be sure to keep this up till at least week 12. and please keep us updated..Miss Lydia,
Thanks for the advice. Today was the first day that I haven't seen the duckling shake. I took your advice and he was eating brewers yeast. So thanks very much..... Hopefully he is on the road to recovery...

1) I live on a lake sooo I'm kinda concerned that they will swim away and not come back?
2) What breed should I get... I want them to lay eggs, also they have to be nice and cant be as noisy as a rooster? Runner, Khaki campbells and Ancona ducks are all great layers and are all fairly quiet.
3) Are they able to hang out with chickens? YEs.
4) Do I have to buy a special coop for them? My ducks share everything with my chicken except they do sleep in a different shed than the chickens.
5) What do I feed them? I feed my ducks Mash, same as my chickens. Pellets will also be good.
6) How much do i feed them? It really does depend. Just make sure they have food all the time.
7) How many should i get? Minimum 2.
Thank you in advance for answering my questions!!!!!!!!
