I am not a hatcher, but yes, I think it is different. There is a thread called When to Worry or something like that - there is hatching talk there. Lacrystol has been very helpful. Please get the info for ducklings right away, it can get dicey if the humidity isn't right. And it takes ducklings a while to finish hatching once they start - from what I have read here.Hi, I have duck and chicken eggs in my incubator, all growing well. Lockdown will be tomorrow evening for the chicken eggs which I am moving to another incubator.
As it's my first time with ducks, (I believe they will take another 6 or 7 days to hatch), will it be the same 3 day lockdown for them and will the temp or humidity need to be any different than for chicken eggs?![]()
Are the ducks calls? Those can be even trickier.
