So my ducks are almost 2 months. Charlie has a loud quack and is always loud trying to be the center of attention! Jojo quacks but everything about him is soft and quiet and I guess you could say raspier! So charlie is female and jojo is male? They are still getting their adult feathers so its too early for the curly tail feather. So if I go by voice sexing, am I right? Or could they both be girls?!

I don't have ducks but it sounds like u r right on the voices there. How is sweet JoJo doing?

Based on your description I would say that Charlie is Charlene and Jojo may be a drake. Pictures would help even at that young age. Some breeds the males will develop a lighter colored bill and other visual markings before the appearance of a drake feather.

He seems to be doing good. His wing is healed and no more episodes. I had them outside yesterday evening for the first time. They seemed so content and peaceful. They had their favorite dinner of whole grain rice and mealworms! Happy happy happy! Thanks for asking! I was sucking up to them BC no ones home today so they have to stay inside in their pen

Tiggy is beautiful. I just noticed her wing bar. Wow, that's amazing. All your ducks are so dang cute too.

Thanks. I think Tiggy is very beautiful. I was hoping she was a she, but I believe he's a he lol. No quacking from this one. But he's quiet overall. Not even alot of raspy peeping either. Juice and Opie are definitely female. Found their quacks early. I also assume Chibs is male, but he has started to get speckles on his bill, which I believe I read was indicative of female?

I've had a sign like this for years for my Yorkies. Bought it in a shop in old Town Sacramento, CA. First time I've seen one for fowl though. Cute,cute

Does anyone have a preference or suggestion on what kind of fish to stock their ponds with for nutrition?

We get minnows in the canal water and both the Blue Swedish and mallard ducklings are more interested in the bugs than them, sure they get some going after the bugs though lol

We better be careful though city folk might complain we are tormenting them or threatening them with our birds lol
