Does anyone have any pics of a curly tail feather? I want to see what I'm lookin for. Is 7 weeks too early to have the curl? And are all male tail feathers like that?

Here is my old drake. Not the best pic of his tail but you get the idea. I know my boys got their curl around 12-14 weeks. I think that is average but some people have seen it sooner. Usually voice sexing is first way to tell if you have boys or girls. You should be hearing quacks by now at 7 weeks. It's possible to have a late bloomer but most should be quacking at least a little.

If Chibs is male, will that be OK?

Ya know Jules, I think I am ok with 2 and 2. I have read that more females was better, so I was hoping 3 females, 1 male. But I've also read that pairs are good. Chibs and Opie (the 2 with more white) seem to stick together a bit more, and Tiggy and Juice (more black) seem to be closer. Of course they are all 4 always attached at the hips, but you know what I mean. So either way, I'm not getting rid of any of them!

I am so happy to hear that u r keeping all the webs no matter the outcome. I think it would be sad to do anything else otherwise. It is sweet how they are kinda paired up but still so together in their little flock. Very strong bonds. And then the love you have for them means all are keepers. Aren't they such sweet and kind creatures?
