Peep did well! My poor husband freaked out. Came home one day when I was at work, and mom and the babies were gone! Now picture: 6'8" 360lb hairy truck driver calling me crying,he can't find the babies.... (She nested in the woods) bahaha! Peep had led them to the pond! By the time I got home, 3 hours later, an entire pen had been built, tool shed emptied, and hay laid down. He was at ponds edge, cup of duck food in hand begging her to come back! Gotta love him!

I think mine would brood snakes eggs if they could find any. They are silly girls for sure. I let mine sit till day 36 then I remove the eggs they usually stay in the nest one of 2 days after then it's over. I have 1 of my Muscovy's on her second round of sitting on fake eggs. I just have to keep up with the days on the calender. Having 3 sitting at one time can get crazy especially when they come out to eat. etc.

I'm happy (and very relieved) to report that Diva isn't phased by her bill injury and it does already look better. Thankfully, she's my easiest to handle so she's being very cooperative when I rinse the bad spot & put Neo on it. Man, I was beside myself! LOL

Good morning all! I'm happy (and very relieved) to report that Diva isn't phased by her bill injury and it does already look better. Thankfully, she's my easiest to handle so she's being very cooperative when I rinse the bad spot & put Neo on it. Man, I was beside myself! LOL
