. The morning stroll!

Yes they do 1 Tab to 1 gal of water 2x a week

Uh oh! I've been giving them acv in their water daily. Should I cut back to just twice a week?

@caesargirl - those babies are adorable! I must be getting better at recognizing breeds. KC was actually my guess when I first saw the pic.

@Lacrystol - I'm still hoping things turn around so you don't have sticky babies!

@SandyM - welcome to the wonderful world of BYC & us bird lovers!

I found this info but insterad of giving it a full week out of the month I give it 2X a week that works out about the same and it's spread out over the month instead. http://poultrykeeper.com/health-suppliments/apple-cider-vinegar

Thanks! Twice a week will be easy to remember. I have another question. I've recently noticed my ducks kind of talking to each other face to face and they're actually touching bills a bit. It doesn't appear angry or aggressive in any way. It's actually kind of cute. Have you seen this before? I don't usually intervene when they're interacting, but if this is showing dominance or could escalate, I'll try to nip the behavior now.

Mine do similar things heads bobbing too and talking a mile a minute. I wouldn't interfere even if there was a little shoving or pushing, they have a way of working out their problems without us intervening. Since I have some broody's right now they are very temperamental and can chase each other all over even grabbing tails. I just let them work these things out I do step in if they go after a chicken and latch hold. There is always going to be a leader of the pack so to speak, and sometimes someone will try and usurp that ones place I even have the girls wrestling at times with everyone standing around cheering for their favorite. Never a dull moment. eh?

Wow Miss Lydia. Lots going on there at your place with your birds. The talking a mile a minute is a cute thing to hear.

I've had this duck for 15 weeks and I don't know what type/species of duck she is. Her name is Amelia and I was wondering if anyone knew what she is? she is on the right. Her best friend/ Partner is Romeo on the left.
?
They are both very cute and gorgeous. Maybe she's a Welsh Harlequin. But not positive. Something has Romeo's attention up high. He is a dream. Amelia's little crest adds to her cute little face.

Thanks again!

@Julie Bird - can you imagine her place? Would love to see all the action! My four are growing up & experiencing new things. Yesterday they all chased a butterfly. Very cute!! On Monday we were in the pen for pool time and I was messing with my phone. An airplane flew over and they all flattened themselves out like pancakes. When I'm paying closer attention as planes fly over, they just look at me (still standing). I tell them it's okay & they go on about their business as usual.
