Welcome to BYC. They are Pekin and depending on age if over 5 months then female if under say 4 months and under no curl to the tail feather so you will have to go by voice females quack loudly drakes have a raspy low quack.

Thanks I'm not sure how old they are ive had them 2 months but they definitely sound different! Love my ducks

Look at this you can hear both voices and also see the curled tail feather on the drake.

@Julie Bird - thanks! They love having more freedom to move about and play. I'm sure the brooder was feeling pretty small. Now it's been raining, what feels like non-stop, since they moved in. Donald (think we've decided on this name for the drake...he's my avatar pic) seems a bit nervous. I hope it's just him taking a bit longer to adjust.
