The Duck Thread

Ok, I know it's a duck thread. I know that this isn't a duck! But, c'mon, how cute is Jinxx!

Every day I'm thankful for my life. We don't live big, but we have what we need and a few things we want. I woke up this morning and went out to feed my ducks, sitting next to my feed barrels was two full bags of duck food! I didn't buy them.... Evidently my neighbors have been coming over to check on my dad while I'm at work (he has severe epilepsy) and my dad told me that one of them brought the food. Just because. Truly thankful for the people in my life!
That is very sweet and wonderful to have such great neighbors.

And now your neighbors have not only fed your ducks, but lightened the hearts of a number of people. Bless them.

How many days has it been incubating?
Today would have been day 5. I saw veins on Saturday evening. None of my other duck eggs had formed veins at all. I'm concerned for my duck what could I be doing wrong? My chicken eggs in the other incubator are doing great, my dad lives outside the city and he gave me abandoned eggs and those are doing great. What do you think about the duck egg? I don't see any veins

The definition of a selfless act is to do something good for another without any expectation of reward or recognition. Sounds to me like you have some selfless neighbors...something to truly be treasured.
