About how many do they lay before sitting? I think one of our girls is hiding her eggs. I keep only finding 2...

Mine are better than the darn Easter Bunny! They tend to lay in tha morning. What I do is watch to see where she comes out of... Can take a while! If there in a permanent run, I wouldn't worry too much. If they free range, it's gonna take some looking! As for how many, it's random. Mine lay up to 25 or so! I also don't know if it's breed specific...

Ya, you can't really go by my ducks... They seem to be the exception to a few rules! As for where she's laying, time to play spy!!!

2 Rouen & 1 Peking hens. Then 2 KC & 1 each of Peking & Rouen. I know the ratio is a bit off :/

I only have pekin and KC, out of your group. My quantity layers are pekin mallard crosses... And my KCs are only 3 months. Are they able to get back into the run at will?

If i ever find them lol. They mostly stay in the mowed yard so not sure where she is hiding them. Unless that was her that laid in the pool :x
