The Duck Thread

It looks like what we use for covering strawberries and cherry trees to keep bird away from the fruit. It works. But like everything it has it's issues, it's plastic so doesn't last more than a couple of years and that's if you take it down in the fall for the next year. The other problem is that it catches on everything when you are putting it up. If you preplan and move it carefully though it can go up pretty easily. I recommend two people but three would be ideal.

Hi! @Ren2014 Have your muscovys been flying much lately?

OMG yes. I have two girls and they are so much fun to watch. I have one male that can get off the ground enough to perch on the fence but all other males are still trying their best. I have some younger girls and I can't wait to see them all flying. Thanks for asking.

Awesome! Hopefully none have crashed into you.:D
Okay, how many Muscovys do you have?

You're welcome!

Our boy is still limping around and today I noticed that his foot doesn't seem to bother him but his knee is swollen and he gets irritated when you push on the lateral side of the joint. Is it possible in his limping around he sprained his LCL???? And if he has, any suggestions on helping him heal?? In a human patient I would ice and rest maybe give them a brace but I'm lost on telling my duck to take it easy

He's locked in his pen while everyone else is out free ranging today.
