My ducks love to root around in fallen leaves.

Some people who have large yards will take the leaves and put it in the runs for bedding. So it shouldn't hurt them.

In the meantime one of this two had died, and I've got a new one. A drake, since the above ducks were female.

Hi everyone! We just got a rescue duck today from a friend of a friend of a friend and we know almost nothing about it, but from looks and the fact it was found wild makes us think she's a mallard (we don't know gender yet so we're just saying she/her for the time being)

She has the mallard face stripes but she seems quite big, is that normal for mallards? (we think she's around a month old).

Looks to be a Muscovy very pretty.
