Here are day 21 candling pictures! Sorry for the quality...the ducklings are taking up most of the egg now so it's hard to see anything

I'm on the last week countdown!!! Waiting for next Thursday and I will try and get some good pip pictures as well! Also, does anybody know if I should set them in the egg turner for the lockdown? Of course it would be turned off...just so when one duckling hatches it won't hit and knock around the rest. Also is there a good way to get the humidity in there while I can't open the incubator...like maybe a straw through one of the vent holes? Also, should I keep the temps the same or should I knock it down to 99 degrees with 65% humidity on lockdown? I also read that once I see a pip I should bump the humidity up to 80% and then at the end of the hatch take the temp down to 97 and humidity 70%. Any thoughts on that? Anyhow...here are the day 21 candling pics:

Can't wait to see the hatchlings. Oh, and I read somewhere that if you have a cracked egg you can try to seal it with candle wax, fingernail polish, ect. Just for future reference. I'm a newbie, so I really don't know from first hand how well that works, just thought I'd pass it on. Very cool pics!

Ok, so it is now early Monday morning...I first set the eggs in the incubator at 6:45PM on the 1st of April. So tonight at 6:45PM I am going to turn them for the last time. Should I use the egg turner to set them in for lockdown? Also, what is the best way to keep that humidity up to 65%? Like maybe a wet towel on the bottom? What about adding water if I need to within the lockdown time plus the time when the ducklings are hatching? I've thought about shoving a straw inside one of the vent holes and adding water that way. I'm just not sure the best way to do it! I'm also going to post a new topic on these questions just incase someone doesn't look this far down this topic

Oh, and I also candled a few hours ago and most of the ducks have already broke into the air sack! Is that normal??? I've never candled any eggs this far along! Thanks you guys!!!

Well I have 2 ducklings today, the day of lockdown! 3 days early! So here are some pics of the start of the hatch. I video taped some clips but I can't load them onto here. Then there are the pics of the ducklings.

That is just so cute... I can hear my little one tapping away in the egg now.. After seeing your gorgeous pics..now I am all of a sudden desperate to see the first glimpse of my new little Runner baby..

Hope all goes well with the rest of your hatch.

Which ever they are..They are adorable. I love seeing that floppy little crawl they do in the incubator. Seeing them draped over the egg like that is so cute. Mine is talking to me now- So I hope that is a sign of a good healthy ducky in there... Hope you wake in the morning to a whole incubator full of little brown fuzz balls.
