I am the type of person who "needs" alone time. How would I deal with all of that...

They make all the older kids take care of the little ones.

I like my kids to have responsibility but geez.... a kid needs to be a kid.

I would love 19 children ---but I have neither the income, the time, the personality, nor the body to produce that many offspring.

Nor do I think my genetic material is awesome enough to allow it to have such a huge impact on our gene pool.

When I win the lottery someday, I'll adopt 17 more kids and hire a housekeeper (and a laundress, cook, scullery maid, landscaper, chauffer, tutor, ranch hand, and massage therapist for the staff).

I think that they're really sweet people - Mom is an angel on earth if you ask me, although I'd like to see what all goes on when the cameras aren't rolling. My 2 kids keep me hopping so much, I don't have a clue how she keeps things running. I don't like the fact that the kids have to help out with the other kids, but I suppose that's what was done many, many years ago as well. Back then, the more kids the better to help out with the chores on the farm.

I think a lot of Americans could reduce their debt if they'd follow their lead regarding buying stuff. I just can't see how her body can keep going like that though - 19, holy cow, my body would have completely fallen apart after 6. Even though they keep having more kids, at least they're instilling values that a lot of kids seem to lack these days.

Just my 2¢ worth.

Why do people concern themselves over other people's reproductive choices?

Of course, if they didn't, these people wouldn't have a TV show, would they?
