The EE braggers thread!!!

I agree but believe that is is a pity that it is necessary to PASS A LAW !

I agree, but also believe it is a pity there are enough abject morons out there that apparently make laws like this necessary to pass/enforce. It truly does diminish freedom for the rest of us when the only way to cut down on seasonal stupidity is to pass a blanket rule for everyone. If only we'd pass laws against being a moron and instead make it a high priority to instill better judgement in our society as a whole.

I wonder if the 6+ rule/law applies after Easter?

Not trying to judge or anything, but wow, I would be terrified to let my chickens sleep outside! They are so vulnerable at night when they can't see anything!
It makes me nervous to let them sleep outside, but they have been doing that for 6 or 7 monthsbut thye do come in from time to time. At least the bush is right by the house. I just keep telling myself that a coyote or fox wouldnt come thta close to the house! although i am sure if they were hungary enough they would.

Cute chicks everyone! I'm dying for mine to get here. I just added a bantam EE to my order from Meyer Hatchery the other night, too, so expect pictures... in 10 weeks and 5 days.

Anyway, we've had lots of rain over the past 36 hours, and no one looks more pathetic in my flock than the soggy Easter-eggers.

Betty:

Merlin (I love her eyes) :
1000

What's funnier is that all four of the birds that are older than Merlin were smart enough to stay in out of the rain. All the kids got soaked and needed to be dried off last night.

ETA: My order is from a hatchery, forgot to mention that in the first line.

Just got three EEs!!! Very happy, all look healthy =) One is the traditional chickmunk pattern, but has silver on the body, the other is white, and one is brown, with silver and blue =)))) Question, one doesn't appear to have muffs, it's only two days old. Will the come in?

And snowy the next.
