The EE braggers thread!!!

It is completely normal for them to look completely different - its why they are a mix instead of a "breed".

Don't worry about the fluffy faces - all EEs used to have fluffy faces until the hatcheries lost the gene somewhere along the line. Fluffy faces does not equal male.

From what I can see of your birds you have two females.

What she said!

OK. I think I need some opinions on my EE Jinx. My chickens are about 11 weeks old. Oliver showed his Roo side early on, around 4 weeks, but Jinx looked total pullet until 8 weeks when he/she developed a big comb, started changing color from mostly solid grey, and got quite an attitude. Thoughts?

Regardless, I think I'll keep them both until they start laying or crowing. I really love them.

This is Oliver:

And this is Jinx, who may just be earning her/his name:

This is both of them together at about 9 weeks.

Can I join this thread????? I have three EE pullets ( one might be a cockerel not sure) and I love all of them they are all beautiful birds and quite friendly. Two will jump up on my shoulders. One actually grabbed an earring out of my ear and ate it.

Sorry, Jinx is a boy. Red in the wings scattered pattern and he is starting to get saddle feathers. Thin pointed feathers around the base of the tail.
