The EE braggers thread!!!

Just wanted to say hi to everybody!!! I haven't been on here in awhile, have been really concentrating on my meat bird project while my EE project birds grow out a bit.
But the first wave of Roy's (see first post) babies are hitting breeding age and are they gorgeous!!! the roosters we are keeping for next years breeding are Frodo and Gandolf; I'll get their pics up soon, I'm finishing their breeding pens this week.
I have a lot of back reading on this post to catch up on, but may I just say wclawrence - your crosses are absolutely beautiful!!! I love when somebody takes their own thing and runs with it!
Anybody with the time to share pics from my free EE eggs I sent out, I would love to see them to compare with my birds!

Katy, thank you! it is good to know that people like the looks of my birds. Why have ugly birds, when it costs the same to feed pretty ones?
I love the colorful eggs, but I love the colorful hens too.

Katy, you're ALIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We were wondering if you fell of the planet. So glad to hear you're well and busy. I ended up with one (lovely) pullet out of your eggs and I just couldn't bring myself to get rid of the gorgeous roo that hatched out of Roy's egg . It is not often that a rooster inspires an entire new breeding endeavor around here, but he's just so unique looking and struts around with amazing presence. I have had to take him to task over his people skill a time or two, but he is shaping up. Izzy, the pullet, is laying beautiful eggs and I have been waiting to post pictures until you re-surfaced, but all of a sudden my card reader will not connect the computer. Crud.

Wow, look at that feather detail. Very interesting indeed. I absolutely adore the expression on her face in this picture.

See, it does not work

I typed in the code for red then my sentence then the code for red again and all it does it print the code....

I know I am doing something stupidly wrong but can't figure it out

All right Katy, I've been dying to show off your babies to you, so here they are.

Izzy, a very sweet bird.

And Laurant again. Not only do I love his color and body shape, eyes and comb, but I am very excited about his size. He's a nice big boy. My easter eggers have drifted to smallish and I like my birds big.
