The EE braggers thread!!!

This is for peep-chicken.The first pic is a bantam silver ameraucana.Second pic is a golden [duckwing] and third is a bb red.Trying for light brown.True duckwing does not have the black stripe in neck and saddle feathers.Ameraucana are silver and not silver duckwing. Some variation in golden duckwing occurs.Yours has a brassy look in the neck and is one variation on golden. He has slate legs and appears to me to be bantam size.He likely had a silver ameraucana ancestor. All these pics are of bantam.Golden is your best color match as duckwing does not have the black stripes in neck and feather.Hope this helps.

Thank you very much for your time and doing this for me. I should of added he is a bantam. So he is not a true duckwing?

Very pretty birds!

I just got mine less than a month ago and they aren't laying right now, so I have no idea what color to expect.

Not sure what color to call this bantam hen, she's almost a metallic silver in real life, with bright red eyes. She looks like a falcon when she perches on my arm.

Here's my bantam rooster. He's molting right now, so his tail looks awful. Actually, the day after I took this picture, all his tail feathers fell out, and now he's got a funny bald butt. He also doesn't crow at all.

Here are two chicks out of this pair, about 10 weeks old now. The one in front is definitely a pullet, and I was told the other was as well, but it's looking more like a rooster I think. That one has a crippled foot, but gets around ok and is like a little puppy. When I am feeding or cleaning pens I let him out and he follows me like a little dog.

Here's a closeup of the cripple-footed one. He's such a sweetie! I'm really sad that he's a rooster, that gives me three roosters and three hens.

The first one is so pretty what cross did you have to make this bird?

No but he is a EE and it does not matter. He carries red and silver and half of his pullets will inherit silver and the other half red.Hens can not carry both colors.Only males can carry both colors. Confusing but true.

These are my pullets They are EEs though non traditional. I posted about them awhile back. This cross will not have a beard of muffs, instead they have a head crest and feathered legs but should lay green eggs. They are also Sexlinks.

They are 11weeks old

Wow that cream gene made an unusual color out of the blue laced. That is very very cool!

So what percentage of each? She is very lovely. Do you think she will lay blue?
My guess is roughly 25%SIlkie 25%EE or Ameraucana(I don't know the exactly what the mother hen is) and 50% Gray Japanese Bantam

My SilkiexEE hen lays a green egg so I am expecting hers to be green also.

Here are her parents
