Hi I have a question do chickens to be called EE have to have come 2 specific breeds ? I have chicks that are a mix of Wheaten Ameracauna and Arcuana rumples chickens They are both pure breed some have hatched rumples and others with muffs so are these mutts or EE whatever they are they should lay a pretty bright blue egg both of the parents do. Thanks for any info

Your chicks are the definition of an EE. Any mix breed blue/green egg layer. Many EE actually carry brown or white egg breeds as well. I would love to add such "pure" blue egg breeding to my EE flock.

Where are you I have hatched alot of them they are really pretty I will post some pics for you to see
