The EE braggers thread!!!

Hi folks! I haven't posted in a while but my EE crop from this spring's hatch is doing just dandy. I went out to take pictures of them yesterday and got a few while they were hanging out in one of our pallet-framed compost piles.

This girl's "grandma" was a Jersey Giant. She is so much bigger in body than my other EEs and has an easygoing Giant personality to go with it. She is the daughter of these two:

Now, next shot of the spring peeps:

That one pullet did not want to be photographed! She dashed out of the first picture and hid under the cockerel above.

While I was taking pictures of the EEs in the compost bin, I heard a loud cluck and a whoosh of wings. My fourth EE pullet from the spring hatch came tearing around the corner and flew up to my arm! Here she is up close and personal.

And showing off her beard:

I got my First blue EE egg it was so Pretty but it broke so I could not take a pic of it. My ROO CHARLIE he is nice to me and a few of the girls Pearl,Dizzy but the other are nuts :D

So I have an EE that first laid a light brown egg with some specks. Now she is laying blue eggs with specks. Anyone else have an EE that changed the color of her eggs?
