The EE braggers thread!!!

Quote:
Yes, they both are blue, several in the batch had blue eyes, I didn't know it was unusual. Wonder if it will change as they get bigger?

I have four girls laying, not sure which ones, but I have a Blue Wheaton Ameraucana rooster over them and I'm wanting to check fertility, so I'm putting a dozen of my eggs in the incubator on Wednesday and we'll see what happens! These will be my first incubation of my own eggs - Woohoo! LOL

The possible layers are: Barred Rock, Buff Orpington, Black Sexlink, RIR, NHR and one of two BW Ameraucana girls.

This is a hen I hatched this year from my chickens.

I posted a few 5wk old pics a few days ago, here are the rest. Most of my girls are quail colored w/ differant intensity of gold (from wheat to almost brick red) and black with differing ratio of color to black. But I have a few exceptions that have stood out as different color wise from the day they came home from the hatchery, these following pics are some of those.

Sola was a total yellow chick, one of three she is the only one still white.

Chantilly was also a total yellow chick. What color is she now wheat? buff? something else?

This is Oreo, several pics of him/her on this thread already (such a ham), but look at Oreo's tail and the other ones tail, the difference is striking and Oreo is a good week behind in all feathering, not just the tail.

This pic and the next are different views of the same girl.

So a couple of questions, first do you think she is in fact a girl? what kind of coloring do you call her? She stands out so differant from the rest.
