Thanks! I've always liked the blue highlights in her feathers. I added some Ideal EE pullet chicks to my hatch from mid-Nov. Here's their pic - yellowish and brownish ones. (The black ones are Barred Rocks.):

If you see the EE babies here, some are more yellow chipmunks and some are brown chipmunks... are there one that tend to be girls or boys mroe based on color? I am splitting an order with someone I dont really know and dont want him to say here are all the boy EE based on color! Any help is appreciated!

I am soooo not an expert, and only have experience w/ my one batch of 25 chicks. I ordered all females, and all the chicks were different chipmunks light to dark and were all (but one) female. I also had 3 total yellow they turned out all female two whites and one apricot and white. I did end up w/ one male he was a medium chipmunk, but was strikingly different in color he definately had a silvery cast in his light areas. Others I'm sure will have more experience. I was told that my yellow chicks may be boys when they were young b/c of their color.

Here are some pics from today of my August hatch EE's. and some of my March hatch.

Starting with my twins. I have a colorful set. they are from different hatches, but, are full sisters. The reason I call them twins is due to their bold coloring. I do have identical full sisters from the two seperate hatches that are white, but, not nearly as colorful of these two, with whom I'm so lucky to have got.

first up is Kit, or is it Kat. haha. either or. here she is. She is from the August hatch.

PinkyGlory123, Sorry to hear about the dog attack, but at least there wasn't more casualties. Hope the injured recover quickly and the dog problem is taken care of. As for the other problem, too many eggs, I am sure you don't have a problem getting rid of the excess. Not this time of year for sure. When I went to lock my coop for the night I found a small green egg on the floor. Now to find out who laid it as I am not suppose to have any "green egg" layers! Glad to hear that you are enjoying your "mutts" LOL!

here are some more from my August hatch. I like them, but, love the above group more, haha.

this is Skittles, she's quite tiny.
