The EE braggers thread!!!

Here are two pictures of a chicken that I was told was an EE and then told she has no EE in her. I'm totaly confused. I figured people on this thread would give me a clue. I don't have any recent pictures because right now she's going through a molt and don't want to confuse any one. She is my favorite hen and her name is Goldie.

Does she lay a green egg? She looks like a brown leghorn or brown leghorn mix to me. Not really saying she is just from what I see in the pictures.

I agree. I don't believe she is an EE -- She has a clean face (no muffs/beard), yellow legs, and a straight comb - no signs at all of being an EE, plus it looks like she has white earlobes too, which would mean a white egg layer, like the brown leghorn.

x2. I doubt she's an EE.

She might be a mix - She has the coloring of a Welsummer, but they typically lay dark brown eggs and have red ear lobes - a hatchey Welsummer may not lay very dark eggs, but shouldn't lay "very light brown eggs"

Here are a few of my EE girls. I got a great assortment of colors from Mt. Healthy in Oct.

This girl is a pretty peach & blue color. Pictures just don't do the colors justice.

i have a solid white EE too. when i bring her in the house, she'll sit on my lap and kinda fluff her feathers up and seems to be in the "lap of luxury"..lol....but she can be a weirdo too!!! sometimes when i pick her up she squaks like there's no tomorrow! sometimes i swear she's a cross between an ameraucana and a leghorn!!! lol! it bothers me if the girls cluck and flap their wings when i pick them up.....like they think i'm gonna roast them or something....when all i do is spoil them rotten! i've spent good quality time with them as chicks and adults. my other EE is REALLY quiet!!! she hardly makes a sound! my BO is quiet too! i'm getting 3 more EE this March....can't wait!!! and i've got OE in the bator too!!! yippee!!!
