The EE braggers thread!!!

Mr. Ricky is so unique, if you ever want to rehome him let me know!!!!! They are Easter Eggers, mostly because they don't conform to the SOP for the Ameraucana's. I would suspect that there are lots of pure Ameraucan's that are not colored correctly the are classified as Easter Eggers. I prefer the EE they come in lots more colors

I have chickens for yard candy so EE fit right in... not to mention the pretty eggies I get too

I hope you all don't mind if I jump in here as I'm looking for a young cockerel. He'd need to be within driving distance and NPIP. DH has expressed an interest in selling chicks to a friend who wants colored eggs, blue of course. He's my chance to add an EE boy!

I have 9 EE pullets but wouldn't you know the hatchery actually sexed each one correctly and not one, not one, is a cockerel.

I love the different colors that I'm seeing here in the posts , like RIckey. I love having different colors. I have 3 white and creams, and 6 partridge buff ( my descriptive term). . We really like our girls; my boys started with calling the whitish ones the "potatos", then they became the "police" . My kids really enjoy the birds!

Thank you all for the compliments on my chickies... I have them for "eye candy" as well.... and the colored eggs are icing on the cake.
Right now it is so funny to watch Ricky running to keep up with the girls. He has really long legs and runs....well, I can't find the words to explain it. But he looks kinda like Big Bird when he runs, all out of whack and sways from side to side. He keeps growing in new feathers of different colors, so we shall see what he ends up looking like. His black tail feathers have a very pretty green shine on them and it looks like a blonde is coming in around his saddle feathers. I am excited to see what happens.

Here is Maretta, who is 1/2 Blue Wheaten Ameraucana and 1/2 EE. She is 16 weeks old:

Here is Shelby, 1/2 Wheaten Marans and 1/2 EE, so that makes her an Olive Egger:

Here is Ranger, 1/2 Delaware and 1/2 EE, and he needs a new home really soon:

Thanks! These N. Ga. mtns are hotter than blazes right now! The humidity is about 100% with temps in the 80's-90's, bird-killing weather, for sure. My Dellie rooster almost died yesterday from it. It's like breathing water around here.
