The EE braggers thread!!!

Here is the EE my kids named "Goofy". She has a big floppy comb and lays a lovely white egg. She also talks to herself non-stop. Can't help but love her.

White egg? That's not something you hear of everyday.

I had an EE like her once - Floppy single comb, same wildtype color, she was a sweety. She loved to bite, too.

These are my latest "homemade" Easter Eggers. The boys are growing up and I'm evaluating who I should keep. My one pullet should lay sky-blue eggs any week now.


The pullet

The cockerels - A couple are older, couple are younger.

The pullet will be paired with this huge guy to create a great big "grab bag" of gold laced, black laced red, tolbunt, mottled, brown-red, and mille fleur colored white, brown, blue, and olive green egg layers.

Never having an EE before I thought mine was kind of special, flashy

Apparently they all look the same more or less

She's actually pretty plain compared to the rest on here!

But they all seem to be camera hogs!!

Next year, if all goes well, I'll have to buy a couple really fancy ones

The fun of EE's is that they are "like a box of chocolates. You never know what you are going to get." One plain yellow chick may be a pure white adult or a lovely blend of white and another color. I chipmunk chick can turn into a whole variety of lovely patterns. Such fun watching them mature.
