The EE braggers thread!!!

I'm really irritated with my Easter Eggers. I loved them when I purchased them last spring, when they first started laying. I got 3 - 4 eggs per week from each, and I love those pretty eggs! Then they started molting in October and hadn't laid since. FIVE months with no eggs???? What the heck is going on? They are well fed, well watered, clean coop, get plenty of calcium, act happy and look healthy.

I have them listed on Craigslist and on here to give them away, but that makes me sad because I love their pretty eggs :( Do I have bum Easter Eggers? Do you think the seller was untruthful about their age? Any ideas?

i think i seen your ad!!! I almost responded! LOL!!!

question, ok so I got a chick that looked NOTHING like anything else in the assorted bantam pot 2 weeks ago, and since, she is bigger than the rest and has different colored legs, and no feathers on her legs.

would you think this is an EE chick? (I am PRAYING female bc she is super cool and very sweet) I looked on all the hatchery websites and none of them look like her leg color-wise in the bantam category....or ANY category really.

thoughts on her from you expert types? She also was never as "fluffy and fat" as my 6 new EE babies...so I am stumped!

today though, "her" tail feathers stick more up than down....I am so worried she will be a he, and will have to be rehomed. she is such an awesome little chick so far!

I had a batch last year that looked close to yours. Ameraucana's or EE our the cheeks fluffy? I see the legs are green/slate

her cheeks have never been fluffy unlike the bunch of EEs I just got the other day :( i am sad. I dont have any idea what at least 4 of my chicks are!

She kind of looks like a Welsummer, too (although I don't know if you normally find those at feed stores).

Here's some of my Wellie chicks; they do have yellow legs.

I got my first Olive egg. I was surprised because the only one who hadn't layed for me was suppose to be an ameraucana I got last summer. But she was so big and pretty I couldn't send her to freezer camp. The lite browns with grey spots are from my giant cochin and the chocolate one is from my Black copper Maran. Everyone else lays about the same shade of blue green.

Oh she is so pretty!!! What did she look like as a chick?

Here's our mystery chick. What do you think; blue andalusian or EE? Or something else?

A cute, little, cheeky EE chick! We received a variety of colors and two all white ones.

A reddish colored one.
