The EE braggers thread!!!

Your two white ones look like pullets.

On another note:
on 4-18-4012
Lost one of my Blue Easter Eggers she was one of the first ones that I raised from last year ( June 2011 baby), she was doing fine and then I found her ans she could bearly move, so I put her out of her misery.
On another note though I've got alot of babies (Easter Eggers and others) on their way to growing up and still afew more getting ready to hatch in another week or two. I'm going to get an exact count of each breed as soon as I get my final hatch out.

When they hatched, I thought the two lighter ones were Roosters. When I found out they were EE's, I realized I did not know what they were. Both of them are coming in with the pullet colors on the breast but do not know if this is the same with a cross. They don't look like roosters, but they are only 4 weeks old. I really want to see what kind and color egg they lay and if they go broody like Dorkngs do.

I will post a picture tonight.

I hatched out some EE eggs in December. I sold all but two of the eggs I hatched. I kept a blue Marans and an EE Pullet.

Maranda the Marans and Chipmunk the EE

Maranda was grooming the nest box yesterday.

Hoe old is Zartan? I think if a rooster, there would be red spots on the wings. The legs are thick though so I don't know.

Rooster sometime get a bit meaner at puberty and should crow between 7 and 16 weeks of age. It's cute when the start too.

Nice looking babies

I wanted to share a picture of our Easter Egger, Zartan. We've always called him a "he" but aren't %100. We love him! He's so friendly :)

Here's a link to his page if you want to see some more pictures: https://www.backyardchickens.com/a/zartan-a-ameraucana I know his page says "Ameraucana" but it's just because I don't know how to change it.

So here are my two lovely EEs! Buffy in the front, and Zoe cowering behind her. *ahem* Zoe appears to be a Joe, and will shortly be leaving us to go live on the farm. No, that's not a euphamism, I know a woman who runs an egg co-op.
