Beautiful girl/boy I wouldn't assume it's a boy yet. My boys were redder in the face at this age.
ETA: Pictures of my NN Easter Eggers (they had pure Araucana in their line a few generations back)

I am keeping all 4 of these ones.
All the pics in my album at the bottom of my posts or in my page titled "Oreo and his girls" are EE from Meyer all healthy all lay colored (blue/green and one pink) eggs.So I'm thinking about ordering a small order of chicks from either Meyer or MPC. Any ideas on what to get? I have purebred AM's that I would love to make EE's with for next year. They aren't laying yet, but they came from a kinda dull blue egg, and I'd love to get some girls with a more impressive colored egg, and also that are eye catchers. Is there any breeds that would be good for crossing my AM's to? They are all from the B/B/S variety. I have at this point 1 black and 3 blues(not sure on genders yet). I guess I could just get EE's from the hatchery. Does anyone have examples of EE's that they got from Meyer or MPC hatcheries?
The naked necked chicks? They are always naked lol.are they molting how often does that happen???
I think I would recommend an Isbar..They are expensive, but they lay mossy green eggs. You could cross them and get some neat blue/green/turquoise eggs. The cream legbar is also a blue egg layer. They are reported to have beautiful sky blue eggs. Unfortunately, they are not offered at hatcheries yet. They are new from the UK. I heard Cackles has a lot of different colored EE chicks. Check out the thread about EE....who, what, where, what.....it tells where people got their chicks, what they look like and what color eggs they have.So I'm thinking about ordering a small order of chicks from either Meyer or MPC.
