The EE braggers thread!!!

x2

I had two yellow chicks and one yellow w/ very slight almost couldn't see darker fluff edges, all three were girls (two whites and one a pretty apricot and white)  But that light chipmunk silver color seems to be a dead give away for a boy.
If anyone has any silver chipmunks that turned out to be girls, please share! I guessed from a day old on Edward Scissor beak, but really hoped I was wrong. He's quite charming and adorable. Definitely not going to breed him though. I think he'll stay as long as he's good, and makes a good companion for our sizzle rooster George who is going to retire soon.

Ooo! I have one! I think I posted her earlier in this thread, but she's fabulous enough for another look. She's a Silver Duckwing.

Iti at about 5 days

Iti as a young happenin lady

Hmm.. She seems just silver on the face and not the back.

Like this. She's pretty close though! :thumbsup

Oreo is great w/ his girls, no issues w/ family pets, the cats stroll through all the time, dogs are kept seperate. When Oreo was about 1.5 yrs old he lost his mind for a couple of weeks, took one or two water boarding lessons and no issues since.

the blue pigment goes through the entire egg, unlike shades of brown which are surface coloring, sounds like whoever laid her had strong blue genetics and therefore probably had some good parantege
