#2 - Little One - Getting the biggest beard! What colour would she be considered?

I think we should create a new name for this color. It's sort of a taupe. Gorgeous. Do you have a picture of her as a chick?

I think that there is some definite blue in there.

jen, your daughter is adorable. She may not be able to eat eggs, but she looks like a great chicken mama!

Such a tiny chick... precious. Thanks for sharing photos. I'm trying to figure out which chicks to choose the next time I get EEs. Would love one with some blue feathers and yours is uniquely pretty.

Lol! She loves her Little One! We won't be able to rename the poor pullet ever I think

All of my EE's were thought to be Blue Wheaten Ameraucanas. So I imagine the hens that laid the eggs were - The farm raises those, Lavender and Buff Orps, Light and Coronation Sussex, Black Copper Marans and Blue Laced Red Wyandottes - so who knows!

Those breeds are all large and she's so little. Maybe some wily bantam jumped the fence.

You never know!! She had a really rough start with pasty butt, and we had to hand feed her and she couldn't figure out how to lie down to sleep for almost a week. She kept falling asleep and falling on her face Lol! We're just so thrilled that she ended up a pullet!

Either Persephone has started laying eggs the same color as Andromeda or Andromeda is Super Andromeda - 10 mint green eggs in as many days.
