Great News! my chickens eyes are better they opened right up and are prefectly fine and she acts great.:celebrate
Good. Did you find out what was wrong? Do you have any hot pepper plants? I just thought of a cat that came in last month (work at an animal hosp) with a swollen face. Found out husband had a bunch of ghost pepper plants in the back yard and the cat likely rubbed up against one.

i think that she had a cold or something when she went to sleep and it dried or something so then she couldnt opens them. Just a guess because as soon as i wipped her eyes and put drops on them they were perfectly fine. No scratches, nothing in them, not pecked out. but im glad that her eyes are better.

I got up to generation 17 in a legacy before my computer crapped out and I gave up :p Moved on to greener pastures haha

If they make a sims for pet chickens, I'll consider it. I just find it has too many computer issues (or it did when I stopped playing).

Chickens, and birds in general, do not have any reaction to capsaicin. It isn't "hot" to them. Seeds from peppers pass through a bird's system still viable, allowing them to spread far and wide. A mammal's system, on the other hand, destroys pepper seeds, so the plants evolved a mechanism to make the fruit unappealing to (most) mammals. Or, it was part of a design, you take your pick of "how" it happened.
