Feed stores typically sell EE and lable them as Ameraucana. I dont know what characteristics to look for in a true Ameraucana though.Ooo!!EE thread!! I'm getting an EE this March!!! BTW- how can you tell if your 'Ameraucana' is an EE or a true Ameraucana? My feed store says they're selling Ameraucana's but since it's really rare to get a true one, how can you tell if it's a true Ameraucana or an EE? Thanks!! -little farmer

Been saying that I'm getting an EE since Ameraucana's you can really only get through breeders. Just wondering!!! I know that Ameraucana's ony lay blue eggs, and EE's can lay from blue to green to pink, so we'll see!!!
