The EE braggers thread!!!

I have posted these girls before. They started out as the light and ended up white with black.

They are the lightest ones in the pics below

Here they are now. about 8 months old

they are EEs and I love their markings. I am hoping to hatch more this spring.

I posted a picture a few months ago of my EE cockeral and pullet. I thought I would share an updates.

This is CordonBleu at 8 weeks and now at 26 weeks.

And this is Teriyaki a few months ago and now at 26 weeks old.

And this is Starr, I do not know how old she is but I think she is a little older than the others. She is not laying yet but neither is Teriyaki.

These are my 3 little EE's I just got from Ideal (1/23) they are a week old today. I was really hoping for a yellow chick and I got one...yay!! I will add pics as they grow. I really enjoyed seeing how everyone's birds changed as they grew. This is an awesome thread!

SistaChick- they are very pretty. I think your roo will throw some blue in his chicks but I don't really know genetics.

Thanks littlechicklet. I don't know anything about genetics but of course I am just learning about chickens. I just got my first egg on Monday so that tells ya how new I am at this. The only Roo I have now is CordonBleu so I wonder what his chicks with the new layer, a Black Australorp will be.

I love the colors of Pet and PA, so pretty. I have an almost white EE, she has a little cream coloring under her chest but the rest is white.

I think it would throw a green egg maybe not quite an olive but there are others on here that know way more than I do. And congrats on your first egg! I know how exciting that is.

I think in order to get deep olive eggs the cross needs to include a very dark brown egg layer: Marans, Welsummer, etc. with a blue or green egg layer.

ETA: thank you I really like them.
