I was about to tell you Pearl was a Peter, until I saw your user name

GORGEOUS Bird!!!!
Thank you. She's actually really dark, but the pic makes her look greyish. She's almost black with true black pencilling. The "necklace" is actually more of a sparkle than the streaks that show with my camera's digital pic. There is not that much white around her neck, it's small spots and streaks, in real life.

As for Ameracauna-vs-EE arguments: I raise chickens. I happen to love oddities in anything that I collect, be it motorcycles, guns, yard decore, etc. I love lil bitty chickens, I love TALL chickens, I love the beauty of the Sebrights, as well as the Amies/EE's. I also like blue chickens, and colored eggs. I have EE's, OE's, and I have "pure-bred" Amies. I only have Amie and EE Roos. I have decided that I am only putting "colored eggs" in my 'bator (except for Banties' eggs), this year. I want to go back toward hens with beards and colored eggs. I am also working toward blue Sebrights, and more Blue Wheaten Amies. Anyone who wants to make fun of that might have a beer dumped on them, as many of my chicken associates fight chickens, and I think that's reprehensible. They aren't allowed to make fun of me, overly much, without the aforementioned beer-dumping occuring. Not many people make fun of me, unless they're my true friends, and they have the same chicken ideas. Don't let anyone make fun of your chickens! Throw an egg at them! (not that I would waste an egg) hahaha! (rant off)

Everyone's birds are beautiful!!! I want some EEs so bad. But am having some problems finding some chicks in my area. Where do you get your birds?

How far down in Il. are ya we are in NE Wis, but we get down to Janesville area a couple times a year when we go to Iowa to get the kids for the summer early summer end of May.
I'll be hatching chicks from March to May, if a meet up would work I could bring you some cuties on our way down..............Kim
