I was told they were Americaunas when they were given to me. Some one said "What kind of bird do you think this is???" When I posted a picture of a cockerel I was going to give a girl in the same state who said she had lost her Rooster. Since then I have traded the cockerels for hens and one looks like it could be your pretty girls twin. She is so sweet. We have only had her for 2 days and she will let us pick her up and eat out of our hand. Now I'm just waiting on her to lay. I saw when you posted this picture over there and I thought I hope they are nicer to her than me. I believe I may have given you this link that some one was so kind to give me as well.

they were kind of rude when i asked a guestion, but dont get me wrong there are some nice people on that thread. But i said that i had read qquite a bit of the information on the thread and asked what the whole aruguement or whatever peole call it between americaunas and EEs. This was when i was still pretty new to this website. and someone told if i read through some of the thread and didnt figure it out maybe i shoulld read more to find out. They i found out that this whole big issue was that some birds don;t match the color standard. Other than that they are pretty much the same birds. Whil I stll love americaunas i think that EEs are very interrresting and kind of a mystery, because you are quite sure what color they are going to be and i think that is one of the fun things about EEs. But to get a little side tracked when i first got my chickens i was told they were aracunas and they i was told they were americaunas and in the end it turns out they arer EEs! It was kind of funny to look back and say man i am such and idiot how could i have evr thought these chickens were aracauns!
 
Gary tilled up a new bed for me yesterday (the one I dug all the raspberries out of and am remaking) well when he did he tilled up a nest of snakes. I felt very bad about it they were just little garden snakes, but we gathered up the mutilated bodies and ...........................................



Took them to the girls, who ...........



Knew exactly what to do w/ mutilated snakes


You gotta be fast to keep your treat in my yard


and have good stamina


Little man trying to decide if it was worth the fuss


And Oreo taking all the credit!!!!!
