Very pretty Roo!

Ok so I just checked on Goldie and locked everyone up. One of my 13 week Spitzhauben's is snuggling with Goldie and her 3 eggs in the nest box... Not sure what to do about this???

I had a silkie go broody last month. So i put some eggs under her. My ee hens would go and lay eggs in the same box she was setting in. Also sometimes one ee hen would sleep in there with her. All my hens love eachother so i think she was just keeping my silkie company. I think its completely normal. Hens have a thing about laying where another hen is laying. They dont have to look for a safe spot to lay there ehgs cuz her friend already found a safe spot. So it must be safe for her to lay her eggs there too. I have 4 nesting boxes but all my hens insist on laying in the same box. Ive caught two laying at once in one box plenty of times.....but anywho, if it something your really worried about or eggs start getting cracked from all the weight, just move the box shes setting in if u can. Or block it off in someway where she still jas access yo food and water and an area where she can potty.

Hope this helps! :-D
