Mocha is very handsome. I can't wait til mine get better at crowing lol. Only 6 wks old and sound like they're croaking more than crowing lol

Hi everyone!! I have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of my first BLUE egg. While I was walking around today picking up walnuts to shuck, I found a little blue egg, in the yard of all places. *Happy dance!*

Silly chicken!! I was kind of surprised though, as it was not as bright of a blue as I had imagined... Do the colors change at all or get any darker? Just curious, I love my birds all the same but would love to have some color to my eggies

Congrats, the color will vary a bit throughout their cycles how much darker or lighter depends on the individual bird.

Well we have to brag about maryhysong.... Her hens are so beautiful... She gave us 3 different colored girls..
We named them Pretty girl, Fiona & Foxy lady.. We can't wait for them to start laying.. The eggs that she
posted in the Arizona thread were fabulous... She has probably posted on this tread..?? I only looked at a few
photos.. I must brag, ousr look different.. I can not post photos from our iPad.. But she does have a web site.. If I can
find it I will post..
