The EE braggers thread!!!

Hahahaha! My EE was giving me the "stink eye" when I was trying to take pictures of the Indian Runner Ducks to sell them on Craig's List. I don't think she liked the idea of one of her friends going away! They are like family!

not sure 'where' to post this, so I'll start here,,This is Coco, he's almost 5 months old, not sure if he's an EE/Americana,,I know he's most likely a roo..Someone mentioned he looks "gamey"..and that when he matures, if he gets ticked off, he's going to cause some damage to another of my flock..Said that "game' chickens will 'kill' if their temper gets riled..

He's gorgeous, and since he's young, hasn't cause any problems, but I have seen him hackle up at another chicken for some reason only he knows, that chicken ticked him, and was not going to back down, but didn't do anything other than hackle and stare them down..

With that, I'm rather nervous now, if one thinks he may be more of a "game" bird??? He has green legs , long legs, long think neck tho it doesn't show here...I should mention I have a Coronation Sussex ROO, who is 6 months old and 4 times the size of Coco..He's a big wussy, and causes no problems.. Comments? Does anyone think he's "gamey" thanks Diane

Other pics may help. He does look a little gamey and does not look like an EE or an Ameraucana. Even if he has game in him it doesn't nessecarily mean he will turn aggressive he may just end up being the dominant roo and your Sussex may end up being submissive. I have no experience with game birds though so I may not be correct.

He does look at least part game in the pictures, but picture can be deceiving. I have old english game bantams and they are really sweet, especially the roosters.

Here is my, wheaten ameraucana x hatchery EE, cockerel at 15 weeks now. His beard is starting to turn. You can see the black specks coming in.
