I am excited to have found another hen and roo of my fav color- whatever it is called. He has the hen pattern on his chest too! Next spring i will know whether it breeds true to pattern. . I have another hen of it who is broody so i now have a trio!!!! Geeked.

thats one of my favorite colors too! My first EE ever looked like that her mame was milkieway sadly i dont have a picture of her.
 
I lost nearly my whole flock, I had one NN that survived the attack, and 3 broody moms and their chicks that were fenced in a separate run they all survived. All the adults that survived were nn mixes, so the girl in the pic is my only ee the rest of the chicks were nn, there were 2 males, but I have rehomed them.
How Sad ... Sorry for your loss, so tragic..
 
Soooo eggcited here. About 4 hours ago our OB's first egg pipped. We have 5 shakin eggs in the bator. Started with 10, 3 were clear an another 2 quit around day 12 or so. The pip & 2 more are from our Rir and 2 from our Welsummers.
