i am sorry that i don't have a picture of Egg Nog when she was little, but she was very pale yellow all over. This is how she looks now:

That is half the fun of getting an EE. You never know for sure what color combo you're going to end up with! The other half is finding out what color of egg you'll get. I had an all yellow chick that turned into Olivia from KatyTheChickenLady (pics a few pages back). Check out this thread about EE coloring in chicks vs. adults. https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=308323&p=16

I would love that! Just PM me when you're ready!

Here are some pics of Ideal Partridge Chantecler x Ideal Ameraucana. We have only hatched 3 but the hen has a muff and beard and hardly any comb. The two cockerels have rose combs. They appear to be Partridge colored. They are 10 weeks old. The reddish cockerel started to crow at 7 weeks and is now dancing some. He even tried to feed the pullet. We are hoping the pullet will lay at an early age. We have put 36 more eggs in the Hovabator. We found them all the same day so some were probably 9 days old in the barn. Some will hatch. Also note they have very yellow legs and the cockerels have no muffs or beards.

Also here are some pics of the Partridge Chantecler Rooster and the Ideal Ameraucanas. If the hatch comes out Partridge, I suppose we will call them "Partridge Chantecana" .

Has anyone here ever tried to breed some size into their EE's? I'm wanting to create a dual purpose bird that lays blue eggs--or at least a variety of egg colors.
