The EE braggers thread!!!

Are they the same age? If so, then I say you have a pullet on the left and a roo on the right. If they are different ages, then you may have 2 pullets.

I believe that they are the same age. They are a few days younger than the first two.

So if the white is dominant, I wouldn't get any barred offspring?

Only the male chicks will be barred, the females will either be all white or all black, depending on whether or not the white is dom/rec.

If the rooster carries one copy dominant white then half of the males will be barred and half will be white, if he carries two copies then all of the offspring will be white. If he is recessive white then you will get all black sexlinks.

Ya'll have seriously confused me.

Chocolate doesn't cause migraines, chicken genetics does!

He is a solid White EE with a Yellow beak and greenish black legs. I don't see a spot of color on him anywhere. I also have a solid white EE hen with a yellow beak with black legs. I was hoping to bread them two together but none of the EE I have in that pen have laid anything.

I'll have several EE eggs hatching next week. The eggs are out of Wheaten Ameraucana hens and by either a Silver Pencil Plymouth Rock roo or a dorking who looks like a longer version of the SPPR. He has a peacomb, the sppr has a straight comb.

The eggs from the resulting hens should be blue/green or green.

Anyway, if anyone is interested, I added a buy it now action to the day old chicken auction here on byc.com pick up only. I'm expecting 10 or so eggs to hatch.
