The EE braggers thread!!!

OKAY.. My babie chickies are about 3 weeks old now... (I think, haha, too lazy to go check)...

Anyway... here they are--- you can check my posts if you want to see their 2 day old pics. These were taken with a real camera. Unfortunately the little light one didn't photograph very well, I think it was starting to get too dark.

Here's the dark one. Any idea on her future appearance? She's also on the smaller side. Floofy muffs!

Here's the one that was a very pale chipmonk with dark stripes when she was tiny... she looks like she's gunna be pretty! She's on the larger side, I think.

Here's the one with sharply defined stripes

Here is the light one... I don't think she will be pure white as I previously feared! Maybe actually like a pale, pale pale buff with shading around her neck? Thoughts? Oh, she also has no muffs... sometimes I wonder if she is an EE at all, but she was in the EE bin and it was the first day they had chicks, an hour after they opened!

Oh, and just for cutes... here's my RIR's.

I forgot one to post, but it looks a lot like the one with two pictures.... but slightly darker, and blurry markings on it's head. Any thoughts on any of my birdie's future feathering?

redfeather I never seen anything like the chick in #2+3. As of now I would call her firebird but who know how much they will change. It seems that all of them go through a metamorphoses as the turn into adult. That is why I never predict how they might look. Ya never know for sure.

what sweet sweet pics!!! i loved looking at them! i doubt your "white" one will be white. i had a white EE and she was all yellow when she was a chick. you're looks kinda buff-like in color.
i have a question though for all you EE professionals! i read SOMEWHERE on BYC where somebody said that maybe the lighter colored EE will be more likely to lay a blue egg and the darker colored EE were more destined to lay a greenish egg. does anyone know if this is true? i have 2 new EE babies that are so dark brown (one more so than the other) that they look like little teddy bears! so i named them after my son's teddy bears. they are so cute and so calm and sweet at only 1 week old. i will say, with my own experience, my white EE layed the same exact color of egg as my brown EE (a light sage green). but i don't have enough EE experience to know if the statement of darker colors laying green, lighter colors laying blue holds true most of the time.

Look at what one of my girls did!!!!!!! Such an over achiever!!!

I have been digging in the dirt w/ the girls getting the garden spots ready and I have one girl chantilly who is the best bug catcher ever, the others can literally have half a yard head start and she will still get the bug!!!! She also has no "I'm too full for another bug point"!!!! Here she is

Wow she is beautiful, has the sex link coloring!
I have one chick that looks like my sex links did when they were babies, hoping to get one like yours.

So far I have yet to get a triple yolker from my girls!!!! Bunch of double yolkers but not a triple yet!

I have never seen a triple yolker either. One egg from a GC was 3" long and 2" wide. We did measure it around, but I've forgotten that measurement.

It was a double yolked egg.
