The EE braggers thread!!!

I've gotten lots of doubles, just figured it was since they are new layers and getting all the kinks worked out. I actually thought this one was going to be a double b/c it looked just like all the other doubles in size, shape and color.

Redfeather, cute babies.

My sexlinks used to lay doubles just about every other day. Big ol' honkin eggs.

Redfeather-I doubt she will be all white. I have one that looked to be but developed beautiful grey veining on her feathers and a pretty grey poofy face.

that would be verrry cool -- I've been admiring people's pics of EE's that have this "silver tipped fox fur" kind of look! Although I think my chicky is leaning more towards a very pale cream/buff.... silvery grey would be so awsome though.

Wow on the TRIPLE yolk, but I am even more intrigued by the hen herself! do you have any full body-shots of her? the one with the rich chestnut buff coloring and the like... white columbian markings on the neck? So bizarre, but really neat at the same time! I hope my chicks are all quirky and interesting looking.

I have tons of pics of Chantilly, but only one in the uploads and it isn't very recent, I'll get more of her out of my compter files later but here is the one I have for now

I have a lot better shots of her.

As a chick she was mostly yellow w/ just a hint of shading on the ends of her fuzz, just enough where you wondered if you were seeing things.

You'll usually get them when they have just started laying specially from the ones that start laying really early, usually the longer they take to lay the less chances of them laying odd eggs. Must be the reason why my EE's have never layed a double yolker either, since it took them 30 weeks for them to start laying.
