Has anyone experienced any Sexlinking traits with their EEs? My neighbors have a flock of EEs from Mcmurray and then a barred rooster who is unrelated, So far I have had three chicks hatch with two more pipped one is silver and the other two are black with white dots on their head...hummm...any sexlinking going on there?

Some new pictures of Cindy, my EE chick.

Cindy is 6+ weeks, used to call her eagle chick, now I think black beard is more appropriate! IT is funny, her beard and muffs are black!

I am curious about sexlinked EE's too... I bought 20 straight run through a local store last year, (they were purchased through Privett Hatchery) and got 10 silver (I guess) and 10 browns.... Every silver ended up being male and every brown a female. I now have 4 babies that I hatched out on the 9-10th of March, and 2 are silver, 2 are brown.... if they end up being silver males and brown females I'm gonna be shocked!!

If they are.... I wonder if I can count on that every time??
