If you were to breed a EE roo with a brown egg layer hen, what are the odds of the offspring laying colored eggs??

Also another question, i see so many different colors of EEs. What can you do to breed to variation in color other than introduce new stock??

What Ameraucana rooster would you put with these birds to make interesting EE?
a black, blue wheaten, or buff roo with these girls:

Welsummer, Golden Cuckoo Marans, Buff orpington, delaware, Barred rock, brown leghorn, golden laced wyandotte.

I'd appreciate any input. Thanks.

That variety of pullets will add plenty of interest. Maybe the Wheaten would add the most interest... I would use him first to get colorful chicks.

They would probably lay a green egg, not olive but green. The thing about EE is the variety. You never know what you will get. They will all be different.

I just purchased my first chickens 2 rir pullets and 4 ee straight run. My wife and I are very excited.. They are only two days old. My question is how can I sex my ee when they get alittle older. What do I look for and how old before I start trying to sex them. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

I'm so EXCITED...I have 12 eggs in the bator and 6 are from my EE(hen)xBlueJG(roo) and all six EE eggs are fertile and should hatch on saturday(ish)Lockdown is Wednesday. I will be

She is the sweetest Chicken and is Spoiled!!! So Spoiled she knows where the treats are in the house and walks right in and goes and stands in front of the storage container and waits and waits and waits....til I feed her something from it. In the House!!!! So Spoiled!!! after treat she walks right back out.
