Emberfeather watched Terraclaw go and muttered, "Birdclaw go with her, she may need you."
"So we go." He said softly into her ear "For better or worse."
"We go," she agreed softly, giving him a lick.
Birdclaw nodded and chased after her, laying his tail on her shoulders when he reached her. "You okay?"

Terraclaw glanced at him, "I sense something in the clans, like darkness and its spreading to us and making us vicious. We need to give them protectors o-or stop it..."
"I agree, but I don't know how." He mewed sadly, wanting to comfort her.
He returned the lick. "I wonder what we'll be doing..."

"Maybe Emberfeather and Dewfang feel that call because they can help. We have to talk with them!" She touched his shoulder, a flicker of hope in her chest.
"Probably trying to feed everyone and find a new territory," she sighed. "But it'll be worth it if we find a new home. And if we don't... at least we know we tried."
