Dewfang and Litchenstep had the same dream about wondering endlessly through a grassy meadow and they went hunting. Dewfang caught a hawk and Litchenstep caught a scrawny vole

Birdclaw lifted his head off of Terraclaws and looked around. It's already morning? I must've dozed off... He thought. He gently started grooming her to help her wake up.
Lichenstep was about to argue before realizing it was useless. He wouldn't listen anyway. "Just be careful, please."
"No promises." He smiled. "I will do anything to protect you and the Clan."
"I get that you won't make a promise, but at least promise to try."
He dipped his head. "Fine, I'll try." He nuzzled her and licked her ears
"Thank you," she purred, returning the nuzzle and lick.
"Come on, we gotta get this prey back." He mewed, brightening up.
"Yes, the Clan will happy for it. She picked up her vole and asked between the fur if he needed help with the hawk.
