My son started a FB page to chronicle his journey back to his fighting weight and fitness. Here is his announcement:

Not lately. Wynette has picked his comb scabby the evil wench. Poor sweet longsuffering Atlas. If I can, I'll snap some pics of him soon.

She still lays in the same general spot. Occasionally, she'll do her half-stand and make her way away from where she pooped. We put a yogurt tub in a black plastic tray and fill that with water and she drinks from that and we put layer pellets in the tray and she'll pick at them a little bit. I've given her oatmeal and grits and eggs, etc, but she eats a little and quits. Awhile ago, Maretta tried to drink out of the yogurt cup and Georgie pecked her. Still being dominant! But, she is weak. Not in pain, but weak.

Looks like it's going to warm back up into the teens after a week of bitter cold, Lisa. I'm sure you too remember Winters when that seems like a warm spell!

Someone asked if my son heard from his ex. Well, he did. Posting this conversation with names and most photos removed (Nicole is the one who calls my son "Dad", loves him like a father). Shows he has some supportive friends. She burned a lot of bridges. And he called us yesterday, seems more cheerful, is going to have something done about his horrid varicose veins, finally.

  So my ex wife sends me a message telling me to send her mail and overdue bills to her in England, not even so much as a please or asking nicely...it’s a wonder how I was able to put so much love and effort into a relationship with such a blatantly 2 faced evil human being...not sending a #$% thing.
