The Evolution of Atlas: A Breeding (and Chat) Thread

We all got alerts on all the cell phones this evening. The county is cracking down on unnecessary travel. All businesses are to be closed by 9 pm, and can't open until 5 am. No one is to be out on the roads after 9, unless it's essential. That's not surprising, since this virus has now escalated here. It should peak within the next couple weeks, then be on the downside of the curve, so we should be in pretty good shape here, by May 1, when the President lifts the stay-at-home orders.

I got feed today, so I'm good on that. I need to order a few things from Walmart Pickup service. Mostly dairy products, apples, potatoes, and some cereals for the kids. I'll get enough to last at least 2 weeks, but some things just don't have have as long of a shelf life. Yes, I've got powdered, canned, and instant things, for hurricane season, if the roads become impassable, and we can't get out, BUT I will attempt to get fresh things, as long as I can do it safely. Walmart Pick Up seems relatively safe.

Shockingly, I checked yesterday and there was a pickup slot open at Walmart at 1 pm today so I grabbed a few things we ran out of (I like Bob's Peppermint sugar free candies for a taste in my mouth). Some things did not have a limit on them that did the first time we ordered.
Not sure the Amazon Prime is worth the money. Bob's mints are $1.94/bag at Walmart. A lot of 4 bags on Amazon is $16.99! WTH? And no video is free. It may get faster delivery on some things and may have some stuff that Walmart doesn't have, but other than that, we'll see if it's worth $119 for the year. Maybe over a year's time it would be.

Adding that ticketing drive-in meetings of churches is targeting religious groups. They don't go down to the local liquor store and issue tickets to those folks, or Walmart or Lowes. This is not about a virus. And cops who blindly follow orders and trash the Constitution need a reset. This is getting way out of hand and the overreach is astounding. No one tells me what is essential to me, no one. My country has left me so we are a nation unto ourselves, with our own rules and laws. So my nation's perimeter needs to be shored up and the gate always closed. Next thing you know, there will be tickets for growing gardens, because, well, you may have purchased seeds against some state governor-overlord's command. We are BacoNation, home of Roots, Rocks & Feathers Farm.

Well, of course, but I rarely see much difference in Lowe's and Home Depot's prices on anything, other than HD will still allow Tom's 10% discount without taking his firstborn son and Lowe's got too big for their britches and wanted him on some list. His retired Air Force ID was not good enough for them any longer.

For Lisa, our sweet potato slips that Tom cut off the potatoes yesterday and is now planting out in the garden now, plus I found pics of his triple decker biscuits while looking for other pictures.
