The Evolution of Atlas: A Breeding (and Chat) Thread

Gosh, I will be keeping my fingers crossed that he is a copy of Suede! I would love to be that lucky!! I just weighed "Boyd" (I named this group of chicks after the characters on Justified :) ) and he weighs 5.5lbs at 15 weeks. I am hoping he is on track to be a big ole boy. I keep bracing myself for that aggressive behavior that normally accompanies their testosterone surge but so far there has not been one iota of aggressive behavior toward me but he has challenged our little bantam roo Little Man. Little Man won the first round. Lol! Speaking of Little Man, your prediction about him is coming true I am afraid as his health is finally failing. It has been declining bit by bit over the past few weeks. I am thankful that we were able to give him a good home for 13 months and that he gave me my first experience with a sweet rooster.

Here is a pic of my sweet little blue boy, Boyd.

Oh, I loved the fall pics you posted. I am soooo jealous!

Sorry to hear about Little Man. I love to be proven wrong on things like this, but I just felt their genetics were not their friend, to say the least.

Boyd is such a good looking guy. If he grows into a Suedenator, you'll be one lucky lady.

Love the pics!!!

Everything is out of balance!!! My six month old BBB turkey was bred by my tom the otherday and laid an egg yesterday!!!
